It was becoming a really popular destination for tourists and expats. I first visited Lisbon in 2018 since there was a lot of hype around Lisbon during that time. There are sand dunes, lush green mountains, arid dry deserts, tropical palm tree valleys, picturesque, colorful towns on rolling hills and everything in between. There are amazing hiking trails all over the island. Gran Canaria is said to have all the climates of the world, but on one island. There are also many beaches on the island and a short drive away.īreathtaking nature ⛰️ - Just a quick drive outside the city, you can immerse yourself in incredible nature. The city beach, Las Canteras is amazing □️ - Las Canteras is comparable to the beaches of Rio or Cape Town, is perfect for for swimming, snorkelling and surfing, diving, relaxing under the sun and playing beach volleyball. Las Palmas is the best nomadic destination for those that want to stay in Europe, but want to live in a tropical paradise. I loved my experience in Las Palmas that I went back twice in one year and considered making it my base.
